Who we are and what this is

Nudged is a daily nudge app: short, human-written quotes delivered to your phone. The whole thing runs on trust. Writers trust that readers will engage honestly, and readers trust that the content is genuine. These terms protect that.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nudged.

Your account

You sign in with Apple and choose a username alias. You are responsible for any activity under your account. Keep your alias appropriate: no impersonation and no usernames designed to harass.

Content rules for writers

If you submit quotes, you agree that they are original or properly attributed, honest with no fabricated attributions, and respectful: written with the intent to uplift, not harm.

Prohibited content includes anything that:

• Promotes hatred based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Harasses, threatens, or targets individuals
• Is sexually explicit or violent
• Is spam, promotional, or AI-generated bulk content
• Violates anyone's intellectual property

Submitting content grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the app.

Moderation and enforcement

We moderate content and accounts. Nudges may be reviewed automatically before distribution to help catch harmful or inappropriate content. Automated tools do not write or alter nudges. Reports, edge cases, and account actions may be reviewed manually.

If you violate these terms, we may remove content, warn your account, or suspend or permanently ban your account.

You can report content using the in-app report button. We take reports seriously. If your account is banned and you believe it was in error, contact support@nudgedbysome.one.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and our subscription infrastructure. Billing, refunds, and cancellations are governed by Apple's terms. Cancel anytime in your iOS subscription settings.

Our responsibilities

We provide the app as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you does not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is material, we'll notify you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.
